Here is the story of Global warming.
Saturday, November 13th, 2010Time to Stand UP for Our Country.
Wednesday, November 10th, 2010Sent by a friend so here it is for you all. Ned Subject: Oh Hell yeah One of my sons serves in the military. He is still stateside, here in California . He called me yesterday to let me know how warm and welcoming people were to him and his troops everywhere he goes, telling me how people shake their hands and to thank them for being willing to serve and fight for not only our own freedoms, but so that others may have them also. But he also told me about an incident in the grocery store he stopped at yesterday on his way home from the base. He said that ahead of several people in front of him stood a woman dressed in a burkha. He said when she got to the cashier she loudly remarked about the U.S. flag lapel pin the cashier wore on her smock. The cashier reached up and touched the pin, and said proudly, ‘Yes, I always wear it and probably always will.’ The woman in the burkha then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing her countrymen, explaining that she was Iraqi. A gentleman standing behind my son stepped forward. Putting his arm around my son’s shoulders and nodding towards my son, he said in a calm and gentle voice to the Iraqi woman: ‘Lady, hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man have fought and died so that YOU could stand here, in MY country and accuse a check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen. It is my belief that had you been this outspoken in YOUR own country, we wouldn’t need to be there today.. But, hey, if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly, I’ll gladly buy you a ticket and pay your way back to Iraq so you can straighten out the mess in YOUR country that you are obviously here in MY country to avoid. Everyone within hearing distance cheered! IF YOU AGREE____ Pass this on to all your proud American friends. I just did…..HELL YEAH

NPR Fires Analyst for Saying Muslims Make Him .Lauren Frayer
Contributor
AOL News (Oct. 21) — NPR has fired longtime news analyst Juan Williams after he told the Fox News Channel that he gets nervous when he sees Muslims on airplanes.
Williams appeared on “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday, and host Bill O’Reilly asked him what he thought about the idea that America is facing a “Muslim dilemma.” The Fox News personality caused a stir recently on ABC’s “The View,” when co-hosts Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg walked off the set to protest his comments blaming Muslims for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

Longtime NPR news analyst Juan Williams was fired because comments he made on Fox News “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices,” NPR said in a statement.
Williams said Monday he agreed with O’Reilly’s statement that “jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.” The two also discussed political correctness, which Williams said could “lead to some kind of paralysis, where you don’t address reality.”
“Look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous,” Williams said.
Late Wednesday, NPR issued a statement saying it had given Williams notice that his contract was being severed. “His remarks on ‘The O’Reilly Factor’ this past Monday were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR,” the statement read, according to a story on NPR’s website.
Williams told NPR that he’s conferring with his wife about what’s happened and that he’s not ready to comment publicly.
Before working for NPR, Williams spent 21 years at The Washington Post as an editorial writer, op-ed columnist and White House reporter. He is the author of several books on civil rights in America and hosted NPR’s flagship news call-in show, “Talk of the Nation,” according to his bio on NPR’s website.
The flag still flying at schools.
Monday, September 13th, 2010This is just sickening. Only 56% have voted on the FOX poll to NOT ban the
flag in school and something like 36% voted YES, to ban it. What is going on
in this country?? Read below.
Fox is running a poll about whether the flag should be banned in schools in
order not to inflame Hispanic students.
The poll is being sandbagged by CASA and the SEIU and we MUST mount a counter action. If you agree with me that the flag should be taken down for no one.
Anti-American organizations eg. Moveon.org , Organizing for America ,
and SEIU have been twittering today to go to Fox Poll and vote to ban the Flag
…. and right now it is working.
SHOW THEM WHAT TRUE PATRIOTS BELIEVE!!!
Let’s flip those numbers and show the leftists we are organized and on the
move….flip the numbers now-FLIP THE HOUSE in November!
GO HERE NOW and vote to keep our flag in the public schools……:

Semper Fi, “Excellent trade, sir!”
Friday, August 27th, 2010Semper Fi
Last Tuesday, as President Obama got off the helicopter in front of the White House, he was carrying a baby piglet under each arm. The squared away Marine guard snaps to attention, salutes and says: “Nice pigs, sir!”
The President replies “These are not pigs; these are authentic Arkansas Razorback Hogs. I got one for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and I got one for Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi.”
The squared away Marine again snaps to attention, salutes and says, “Excellent trade, sir!”
Great day at Arlington Park this Saturday.

Get ready for Million Day on July 17.
Article from the Daily Racing Form:
Million Preview Day: Go for the Green
The heart of the summer season is upon us and at Arlington Park that can mean only one thing – focus shifts to Arlington’s world famous turf course for two major event days that every racing fan will want to make on his or her calendar.
This Saturday, July 17, Arlington Park will present its annual Million Preview Day card that will showcase local and national hopefuls as they prep for the Arlington Million and International Festival of Racing just five weeks later. Arlington will present an expanded card each day and each day will start at a special early post time of 12:15 P.M. (CDT).
In addition to all three stakes offering six-figure purses as well as graded stakes black type to its winners, the $150,000 Arlington Handicap (G3), the $150,000 Modesty Handicap (G3) and the $200,000 American Derby (G2) offer its top three finishers something more.
The entry and starting fees for the Arlington Million will be waved for any horse that finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the Arlington Handicap. Similarly, entry and starting fees for the Beverly D. will be waved for any horse that finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the Modesty Handicap while the entry and starting fees for the Secretariat Stakes will be waived for any horse that finishes 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the American Derby.
The 2009 edition of Million Preview Day had a large impact on the results of the 2009 International Festival of Racing. Arlington Handicap hero Just as Well finished second to eventual multiple Eclipse-Award winner Gio Ponti in Million XXVII and appears to be headed back to Arlington for repeat bid in the local Handicap.
Dynaforce, who ran third in the ’09 Modesty ‘Cap, improved upon that effort and captured the Beverly D. just a month later while Modesty victress Pure Clan ended up third in the Beverly D.
In 2008, Modesty winner Communique reported home second in the Beverly D. while ’08 American Derby champ Tizdejavu ran third in that season’s Secretariat.
All eyes will be on Arlington for Million Preview Day on July 17 and astute handicappers will want to pay attention to what happens this Saturday as it will likely be a factor next month.
Good luck and good handicapping!
A koala was sitting in a gum tree smoking a joint.

A koala was sitting in a gum tree smoking a joint
when a little lizard walked past, looked up and said,’Hey Koala! What are you doing?’
The koala said, ‘Smoking a joint, come up and have some.’

So the little lizard climbed up and sat next to the koala where they enjoyed a few joints. After a while the little lizard said that his mouth was ‘dry’ and that he was going to get a drink from the river.

The little lizard was so stoned that he leaned over too far and fell into the river.
A crocodile saw this and swam over to the little lizard and helped him to the side. Then he asked the little lizard, ‘What’s the matter with you?’
The little lizard explained to the crocodile that he had been sitting with the koala in the tree, smoking a joint, but got too stoned and fell into the river while taking a drink..
The crocodile said that he had to check this out and walked into the rain forest, found the tree where the koala was sitting finishing a joint. The crocodile looked up and said,
‘Hey you!’
So the koala looked down at him and said,

What has happened to Australia? This is great.
Wednesday, June 16th, 2010Complaints and Bans
Despite the Hyundai Restless ad’s popularity in NZ, there were concerns expressed about the role modelling being shown in the ad. New Zealand’s Advertising Standards Complaints Board considered 71 complaints relating to the ad’s portrayal of underage driving. The Board dismissed the complaints in September 2006, allowing that the commercial was clearly in the fantasy genre and was not shown during children’s programmes.
Australia’s Advertising Standards Board was not as forgiving however, announcing on February 22 the decision to ban the Hyundai TV ad from Australian screens. The Board had determined that the advertisement, which has so far attracted more than 80 complaints from members of the public, depicted a driving practice that was in breach of the law, said Advertising Standards Bureau Chief Executive Officer, Mark Jeanes.
“The Board certainly acknowledged that the notion of a toddler driving a car was unrealistic and fanciful, but under the Advertising for Motor Vehicles Voluntary Code of Practice, fantasy cannot be used when it contradicts, circumvents or undermines the Code,” Mr Jeanes said.
“Many of the complaints were from parents concerned that the advertisement would encourage copy-cat behaviour in young children and might lead to accidents,” he said.
The Board also held that the wearing seatbelts, instead of approved child restraints, was a matter of safety and a depiction which should not be encouraged.
The advertisement has been removed from air in Australia.
