Obama Kids get $48,000 — tax free!

Obama wants YOU to pay higher taxes but NOT him.

President Obama and his wife, Michele, gave a total of $48,000 in tax-free gifts to their daughters, according to tax records made public on Friday.

The president and his wife separately gave each daughter a $12,000 gift under a section of the federal tax code that exempts such donations from federal taxes.

There is nothing illegal about the president’s taking advantage of this tax shelter, but it does raise eyebrows given that he has lamented the myriad tax exemptions used by the wealthy—“millionaires and billionaires” like himself—to pay less in taxes. He has yet to propose a comprehensive plan to reform the byzantine tax code.

THE BAD NEWS IS THAT LESS THAN 5% OF THE VOTERS WILL NEVER READ OBAMA’S STATEMENT. YOU CAN FORWARD THIS OR VOTE FOR OBAMA,

Unbelievable Words

If someone has to explain this to you,

You are not a veteran???.
He doesn’t seem to have much respect for the military.
Maybe in the future our leaders should be veterans.

THOUGHT YOU MIGHT LIKE TO SEE THIS!!
THE MOST STUPID STATEMENT EVER BY A PRESIDENT-Unbelievable

THIS MOST UNBELIEVABLE PRESIDENT ?
HERE IS HIS RESPONSE WHEN HE BACKED OFF FROM HIS DECISION TO REQUIRE THE MILITARY PAY FOR THEIR WAR INJURIES.
Bad press, including major mockery of the play by comedian Jon Stewart, led to President Obama abandoning his proposal to require veterans carry private health insurance to cover the estimated $540 billion annual cost to the federal government of treatment for injuries to military personnel received during their tours on active duty. The President admitted that he was puzzled by the magnitude of the opposition to his proposal.

“Look, it’s an all volunteer force,” Obama complained. “Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice ? It doesn’t compute..” “I thought these were people who were proud to sacrifice for their country, “Obama continued “I wasn’t asking for blood, just money. With the country facing the worst financial crisis in its history, I’d have thought that the patriotic thing to do would be to try to help reduce the nation’s deficit.. I guess I underestimated the selfishness of some of my fellow Americans.”
Please pass this on to everyone including every vet and their families whom you know. How in the world did a person with this mindset become our leader ?
REMEMBER THIS STATEMENT….

“Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice ? ”

If he thinks he will ever get another vote from an Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard service member or veteran of a military service he ought to think it over.. If you or a family member is or has served their country please pass this to them.
Please pass this to everyone. I’m guessing that other than the 20-25 percent hardcore liberals in the US will agree that this is just another example why
this is the worst president in American history. Remind everyone over and
over how this man thinks, while he bows to the Saudi Arabian king…

Dem. Congressman Kennedy Alleges ‘Quid Pro Quo’ for Access to White House? This is the Chicago way!!

Former Dem. Congressman Kennedy Alleges ‘Quid Pro Quo’ for Access to White House
By DANIEL HALPER

Access to the Obama White House is in direct correlation to the amount of money donated to the president’s reelection effort and the Democratic party, the New York Times reports today.

The Times reports: “those who donated the most to Mr. Obama and the Democratic Party since he started running for president were far more likely to visit the White House than others. Among donors who gave $30,000 or less, about 20 percent visited the White House, according to a New York Times analysis that matched names in the visitor logs with donor records. But among those who donated $100,000 or more, the figure rises to about 75 percent. Approximately two-thirds of the president’s top fund-raisers in the 2008 campaign visited the White House at least once, some of them numerous times.”

But the most explosive allegation in the news story comes from former Democratic congressman Patrick Kennedy, son of the late Ted Kenney, who calls what the Obama White House is doing “quid pro quo.”

Patrick J. Kennedy, the former representative from Rhode Island, who donated $35,800 to an Obama re-election fund last fall while seeking administration support for a nonprofit venture, said contributions were simply a part of “how this business works.”

“If you want to call it ‘quid pro quo,’ fine,” he said. “At the end of the day, I want to make sure I do my part.”

Mr. Kennedy visited the White House several times to win support for One Mind for Research, his initiative to help develop new treatments for brain disorders. While his family name and connections are clearly influential, he said, he knows White House officials are busy. And as a former chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, he said he was keenly aware of the political realities they face.

And Kennedy admits that folks in the White House are checking out the donor records:

“I know that they look at the reports,” he said, referring to records of campaign donations. “They’re my friends anyway, but it won’t hurt when I ask them for a favor if they don’t see me as a slouch.”

Literally translated, “quid pro quo” means “something for something.” As in, if you want something from the Obama White House, then give something (e.g., cash).

TSA inspector accused of stealing iPads at DFW Airport
By Dianna Hunt

A Transportation Security Administration baggage inspector at Dallas/Fort Worth Airport has been indicted in the theft of Apple iPads from luggage over eight months.
Clayton Keith Dovel, 36, of Bedford was arrested Feb. 1 and has been suspended indefinitely, officials said.

The investigation led to the recovery of eight stolen iPads, including one that was among Dovel’s possessions at Terminal E when he was arrested, airport police said.

His attorney, Greg Westfall, declined to comment.

The indictments that the Tarrant County grand jury issued this week charge Dovel with theft by a public servant of items valued at up to $20,000. If convicted, he could face two to 10 years in prison.

According to airport police, a traveler reported Jan. 24 that his iPad 2 had been stolen and that he had traced it electronically to a home in Bedford owned by Dovel.

While arresting Dovel in that case, airport police discovered another iPad in Dovel’s leather satchel. Dovel told authorities that the iPad was his but that he couldn’t remember where he bought it, according to police reports.
Using that iPad’s serial number, police traced it to a Grand Prairie man who had reported that it was stolen as he traveled through Terminal E in May.

In the indictment, Dovel is also accused of stealing iPads in November and early January.

The TSA issued a statement calling the arrest part of a “zero-tolerance policy for allegations of misconduct or theft” at the airport.

“The unacceptable behavior of this individual in no way reflects the dedication of our nearly 50,000 Transportation Security officers who work tirelessly to keep our skies safe,” the agency said.

Dovel is free on $5,000 bail.

Senate Bill 1813…… Giving the IRS power to revoke passports and travel
Posted by Michael CHILDS

There has been some inquiry about Senate Bill 1813, specificly the section, Giving the IRS power to revoke your Passports. A amendment has been tacked onto a Federal highway construction bill. Senate Bill 1813, proposed by Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer, includes an amendment that would prevent any American citizen from leaving the country based upon a determination by the IRS that you owe the government back taxes.

The amendment, Section 40304, was written by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and would authorize the State Department to revoke, your passports for anyone the IRS certifies as having “a delinquent tax debt in an amount in excess of $50,000.”

Constitutional Attorney Angel Reyes says that’s a violation of due process and is unconstitutional.

“It takes away your right to enter or exit the country based upon a non-judicial IRS determination that you owe taxes,” Reyes told FOX Business. “It’s a scary thought that our congressional representatives want to give the IRS the power to detain US citizens over taxes, which could very well be in dispute.”

Financial Adviser Clark Hodges says the measure is especially concerning given the high number of taxpayers it could affect.

“There are so many people that fall into that situation, and I think that’s too invasive. Especially coming out of a bad economy there are a lot of people behind on a lot of things,” he told Fox Business.

Still, the “Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act” or “MAP-21? passed the Senate in a vote of 74-22, and is now headed for the GOP-controlled house where it’s expected to meet stronger opposition. – Source: FOX Business

House Dem Suggests on Twitter that Former VP Dick Cheney Be Executed

Rep. Kruger returned calls for comment this morning, he is quoted below. Kruger’s Twitter account history has also been blocked from view.

Rep. Chuck Kruger (D-Thomaston), the Democrat chair of the Maine legislature’s Moderate Caucus, used his Twitter account to express his view that former Vice President Dick Cheney should be executed. This comment has led some to question the validity of Kruger’s moderate credentials.

Kruger made the statement through his Twitter account this past summer, saying, “Cheney deserves same final end he gave Saddam. Hope there are cell cams,” a reference to technology that would allow Kruger to watch the proposed execution of the former Vice President of the United States.
