Prince Charles attacks climate change ‘sceptics’. We are all waiting to hear where he got his climate degree? When did the elitist Price Dumbo become a scientist? Price Charles is NOT a climate change expert or even a person with any education in climate issues. He is just another ELITIST who has the people of the United Kingdom giving him their hard earned money so he can tell THEM why they must suffered while he lives like a PRINCE…..Prince Charles should tell everyone what really went on and how he treated Princess Diana? Al Gore & Prince Charles are just to RICH Elitist living off the people buying their snake oil.

The Prince of Wales launched a stinging attack on “climate sceptics” deriding them for peddling “pseudo science”.

In a speech to world business leaders at a climate change seminar Charles criticised the group for apparently intimidating people from “adopting the precautionary measures necessary to avert environmental collapse”.

Some experts dispute global predictions for climate change mainly because changes to the planet’s climate have occurred in the past, due to natural causes.

Leading figures such as former Conservative chancellor Lord Lawson and environmentalist and broadcaster David Bellamy added their voices to others questioning the conclusions of global warming ‘believers’.

Charles, speaking yesterday at the event staged by the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership at St James’ Palace, did not mention any sceptics by name but said: “People have heard the climate sceptics and attempted to listen to the kind of pseudo science they are peddling…I have endlessly been accused of peddling pseudo science, in one way or another, for most of my life – just think about the strange irony.”

During the last few decades Charles attempted to influence public opinion by speaking about the threat climate change poses and setting up his Prince’s Rainforest Project to try to safeguard the world’s rainforests.

The heir to the throne has also given a number of high profile speeches on the subject on the world stage, including speaking at last year’s UN climate negotiations in Copenhagen.

During his address today, Charles said: “I have already alluded to the problem of climate scepticism.

“It appears to be on the rise again with more and more people prepared to listen to those siren voices that say that everything is okay, there is no need to worry and that we can all carry on as before as all this fuss about climate change and environmental collapse is merely part of a sinister attempt to undermine the entire foundations of the market-based capitalist system.

“Well, ladies and gentlemen, I believe the urgency of the situation is too great simply to sit back and do nothing.”

Lord Lawson is chairman of the Global Warming Policy Foundation which describes itself on its website as an “all-party and non-party think tank” that aims to bring reason to the climate change debate that has become “seriously unbalanced, irrationally alarmist”.

In an interview with the Telegraph last month the former chancellor acknowledged the increase in the planet’s temperature during the past 100 years and that C02 gases have “played a part”. But he warned cutting carbon emissions would threaten the economy.

The peer told the newspaper: “We need to get off this absurd carbon-cessation hook that will be hugely damaging to the economy and society.

“What we should be doing is monitoring what is happening very carefully and closely and preparing to adapt to any changes that might occur.”

No Rise of Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Fraction in Past 160 Years, New Research Finds

ScienceDaily (Dec. 31, 2009) — Most of the carbon dioxide emitted by human activity does not remain in the atmosphere, but is instead absorbed by the oceans and terrestrial ecosystems. In fact, only about 45 percent of emitted carbon dioxide stays in the atmosphere.

However, some studies have suggested that the ability of oceans and plants to absorb carbon dioxide recently may have begun to decline and that the airborne fraction of anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions is therefore beginning to increase.

Many climate models also assume that the airborne fraction will increase. Because understanding of the airborne fraction of carbon dioxide is important for predicting future climate change, it is essential to have accurate knowledge of whether that fraction is changing or will change as emissions increase.

To assess whether the airborne fraction is indeed increasing, Wolfgang Knorr of the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol reanalyzed available atmospheric carbon dioxide and emissions data since 1850 and considers the uncertainties in the data.

In contradiction to some recent studies, he finds that the airborne fraction of carbon dioxide has not increased either during the past 150 years or during the most recent five decades.

The research is published in Geophysical Research Letters.

The average October temperature of 50.8°F was 4.0°F below the 20th Century average and ranked as the 3rd coolest based on preliminary data.

  • For the nation as a whole, it was the third coolest October on record. The month was marked by an active weather pattern that reinforced unseasonably cold air behind a series of cold fronts. Temperatures were below normal in eight of the nation’s nine climate regions, and of the nine, five were much below normal. Only the Southeast climate region had near normal temperatures for October.
  • Statewide temperatures coincided with the regional values as all but six states had below normal temperatures. Oklahoma had its coolest October on record and ten other states had their top five coolest such months.
  • Florida was the only state to have an above normal temperature average in October. It was the sixth consecutive month that the Florida’s temperature was above normal, resulting in the third warmest such period (May-October).

First Algore came along to tell us the world was doomed all of a sudden and must be saved by destroying the United States and other leading countries. Then Prince Charlies a would renown expert in the environment world gave us 50 days to save ourselves. Not one to let a crisis go to waste along came The Obama the world leader.  Well the latest expert has now been heard from!!!!!  Yes, the well know Gordon Brown.  Gordon must be taking classes from Charles.  Brown  said negotiators had 50 days to save the world from global warming and break the “impasse”.

    WOW!  Are you worried yet?  This global cooling is getting out of control, 50′s in Florida, Snow at the Patriots game and record cold year in Chicago.

    Al Gore and George Soros are profiting from their global warming myth.

    Former Vice President Al Gore shared his optimism about the “shifting momentum” of the climate change debate with about 500 environmental journalists Friday in Madison.“We’re very close to that political tipping point,” Gore said at the Society of Environmental Journalists annual conference at the Madison Concourse Hotel. “Never before in human history has a single generation been asked to make such difficult and consequential decisions.”  He said he expects the Senate to pass a carbon emissions reduction bill before a December United Nations conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. The House passed a similar bill in June.

    He also said he expects President Barack Obama to attend the Copenhagen conference, which could boost an international framework for emissions reduction. Obama hasn’t announced his plans.

    “His optimism isn’t shared by a lot of other folks,” said Tim Wheeler, an environmental reporter for the Baltimore Sun. Gore may have been trying to push politicians to action, Wheeler added.

    Gore has been criticized for not publicly debating his position since the release of his 2006 Oscar-winning documentary, “An Inconvenient Truth.”

    In what organizers said was a rarity, Gore took half a dozen questions from journalists, including one from Phelim McAleer, an Irish filmmaker who asked Gore to address nine errors in his film identified by a British court in 2007. Gore responded that the court ruling supported the showing of his film in British schools. When McAleer tried to debate further, his microphone was cut off by the moderators.  What was Gore afraid of?

    Gore is clearly cleaning up financially and living a lie if he really believes what he has pushed on America. More and more facts prove Gore and his phoney science were wrong.

    Billionaire George Soros said on Saturday that he would invest $1 billion in clean energy technology as part of an effort to combat climate change. “I will look for profitable opportunities, but I will also insist that the investments make a real contribution to solving the problem of climate change,” Soros said.
    Yes, sure Soros is pushing an agenda to make him more millions and that is what people should be looking at. Al Gore is also profiting from his global warming myth.

    Polar Bears Refute Al Gore’s Warnings

    The polar bears that climate change alarmists claim are endangered by global warming are doing just fine, thank you.

    Al Gore and other alarmists have warned that higher global temperatures due to greenhouse gases could lead to the melting of the polar ice caps. That would threaten the polar bears’ efforts to find food and survive.

    But due to colder than usual subarctic weather this year, healthier polar bears are being spotted along the Hudson Bay coast in Canada, according to a release from PR Newswire.

    “The late break-up of ice this year on Hudson Bay means the polar bears, which rely on sea ice to live, have been given more time during spring and summer to hunt and eat seals, and this has allowed them to gain important weight to live off of until freeze-up,” said Robert Buchanan, president of Polar Bears International.

    Daryll Hedman, a regional wildlife manager for Manitoba Conservation in Canada, said polar bears remain on the Hudson Bay ice for as long as possible so they can feed, and this year the ice was so thick that they stayed there for an extra two weeks, resulting in fatter, healthier bears this summer.

    On a related front: With many Democrats still clamoring for cap-and-trade legislation to curb carbon emissions in response to global warming fears, the outgoing leader of the environmental group Greenpeace has retracted an assertion about Arctic ice.

    In a July 15 release entitled “Urgent Action Needed as Arctic Ice Melts,” Greenpeace said there will be an ice-free Arctic by the year 2030 due to global warming.

    Under questioning by BBC reporter Stephen Sackur, Gerd Leipold, the retiring Greenpeace leader, stated, “I don’t think it will be melting by 2030 . . . That may have been a mistake.”
