The American people are tired of Government health care being force on them

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

The health care sham conference being held by The Obama and Congress is just another dog and pony show. Seniors and families with children should be sick and tired of the push for government health care.  Only the most uninformed still support the failed future of government health care. Anyone doing any research will seem that government health care will damage and ruin the current health care in the U.S. and replace it with a failed model of government control. Seniors and future Seniors have the most to lose and should be making their views very clear to Congress.

Washington (CNN) – Although the overall health care reform bills passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate are unpopular, many of the provisions in the existing bills are extremely popular, even among Republicans, according to a new national poll.

A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey released Wednesday also indicates that only a quarter of the public want Congress to stop all work on health care, with nearly three quarters saying lawmakers should pass some kind of reform.   25 percent of people questioned in the poll say Congress should pass legislation similar to the bills passed by both chambers, with 48 percent saying lawmakers should work on an entirely new bill and a quarter saying Congress should stop all work on health care reform. The survey indicates nearly 4 in 10 Democrats saying Congress should start from scratch and just 1 in 10 saying lawmakers should stop all work on health care.  A majority of Republicans questioned, 54 percent, want Congress to start from scratch, with just under 4 in 10 saying lawmakers should halt work on health care reform.

52 percent of Independents want Congress to start work on a new bill, with 27 percent saying lawmakers should stop all work, and 18 percent saying that the current legislation should be passed into law.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted February 12-15, with 1,023 adult Americans questioned by telephone. The survey’s sampling error is plus or minus 3 percentage points for the overall survey.

May be CNN should run a pool on Congress working on JOBS vs Health care.

AARP just working against the seniors of the U.S.

Sunday, January 31st, 2010

Read this AARP article and see how phoney and dishonest these elitist know it alls are. NOT once do they cover the corrupt and out of control government that encouraged this behavior. Where is the article demanding real hearings on the government roll in causing and encouragement of bad loans.

Hold Wall Street Accountable

We’ve seen what can happen when big banks and corporations on Wall Street aren’t forced to play by the rules: millions in lost jobs, billions in taxpayer-funded bailouts and trillions in lost retirement savings.

That’s why AARP is leading the call for urgently needed consumer protection that reforms the financial industry and holds Wall Street accountable for reckless behavior that puts our economy at risk.

But we all know that Congress won’t take on these powerful forces unless we make them.

What is it that AARP can’t get.  Government helped caused this problem and then continued to make it worse.

The AARP is nothing but a special interest group working against seniors with their own money

Another pro socialist pig can see the light & gives up.

Democratic socialist Sen Chris Dodd has seen the future and it does not include punishing the people of the United States. All the polls show Dodd has screwed the people of Connecticut for the last time.  The people of the United States will be better off without the big spending, big government & pro socialist Dodd who always supported better deals for the elitist members of Congress over the average American.

Good riddance and please let us see how much money you have taken from the hard working people of this country and all the elitist benefits you will have since you were a member of the royal government.

When is enough enough for the Washington elitist congress?

The latest calculation of the National Debt as posted by the Treasury Department has – at least numerically – exceeded the statutory Debt Limit approved by Congress last February as part of the Recovery Act stimulus bill.

The ceiling was set at $12.104 trillion dollars. The latest posting by Treasury shows the National Debt at nearly $12.135 trillion.

A senior Treasury official told CBS News that the department has some “extraordinary accounting tools” it can use to give the government breathing room in the range of $150-billion when the Debt exceeds the Debt Ceiling.

Were it not for those “tools,” the U.S. Government would not have the statutory authority to borrow any more money. It might block issuance of Social Security checks and require a shutdown of some parts of the federal government.

Pending in Congress is a measure to increase the Debt Limit by $290 billion, which amounts to six more weeks of routine borrowing for the federal government. (The House just passed the increase, though the Senate has yet to act.)

Republicans and conservative Democrats blocked moves by House leaders to pass a $1.8 trillion dollar increase in the Debt Limit so the Democratic majority would not have to face the embarrassment of raising the Debt Limit yet again before next November’s midterm elections.

The Debt Limit has been raised about a hundred times since 1940, when it was $49 billion – about five days worth of federal spending now.

The White House projects a record $1.5 trillion dollars deficit this year alone, and a 5-year deficit total of $4.97 trillion.

The Debt figure goes up and down on a daily basis based on government borrowing and revenue.

Washington Post, We called on Mr. Rangel to resign his coveted post.

Friday, September 4th, 2009

At a time when the American people are watching the elitist government take more freedom and choice from them we see more and more of the same elitist abusing and cheating the system. Government officials are out of control and without fear of any reaction from the American people, These arrogant elitists are grabbing all than can while telling the people they were elected to serve how to live and taking their hard earned money.
Just read this article.

The Washington Post says: Rep. Rangel must step aside as chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.
Mr. Rangel’s amended financial disclosure form, which exposes omissions from his 2002 through 2006 records, is a treasure trove of outrage. He neglected to report a checking account with the Congressional Federal Credit Union and one with Merrill Lynch, each valued between $250,000 and $500,000; the tens of thousands of dollars he’s earning from dividends from a number of mutual funds and stocks; and the money made from the sale of a Harlem townhouse. As a result, Mr. Rangel’s reported net worth doubled, from between $516,015 and $1,316,000 to between $1,028,024 and $2,495,000. Much is expected of elected officials. Much more is expected and demanded of those entrusted with chairmanships and the power that comes with them, especially when it involves the nation’s purse strings. From all that we’ve seen thus far, Charles Rangel Rep (D-N.Y.) has violated that trust continually and seemingly without care.

It is way past time that Rangle step down from his post. It is high time that the Attorney General has a special prosecutor investigate the legal case against Rangle and bring a case against him that doesn’t just remove him from congress but sends him to prison! If Rangle violated the law it is time the Obama justice department does their job. Clearly the Obama justice department is not going after the clear crimes being committed in the halls of Congress. We need to see special prosecutors being set up to investigate government abuse and criminal activity now. But sadly Obama does not seem interested is clearing up his fellow elitist government officials that are abusing the system.

Churchill Quotes Helps Explain Congress

Thursday, August 20th, 2009

A politician needs the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week, next month, and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen.
Winston Churchill

This is so true when you look at the way things go in Washington. Now all we hear are excuses why the stimulus is not working to product jobs. But when you look at how and how much was spent you see that payoffs and payback were what OUR tax dollars were used for.  The shovel ready only applies to burying the economy and jobs for US workers for political purposes..
