Michelle to kids: Tell grandparents they are ‘wrong’ for not voting for my husband.
Michelle Obama, who has quickly become the Obama campaign’s tip of the spear when it comes to fundraising and vote-getting, is now stumping for children to convince their “great-grandparents” to vote for her husband. At an event at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park – for which tickets cost at least $500 – Michelle said:
I mean, I can’t tell you in the last election how many grandparents I ran into who said, I wasn’t going to vote for Barack Obama until my grandson talked to me, until my great-grandson talked to me, and talked about the future he wanted for this country.
This is a hallmark of leftist campaigning – the notion that children possess some sort of inherent wisdom to which their elders must heed. It’s insulting and ridiculous, but it’s also the same sort of electioneering that got Obama elected the first time.
President Obama, employing his strongest language to date on the Supreme Court review of the federal health care overhaul, cautioned the court Monday against overturning the law — while repeatedly saying he’s “confident” it will be upheld.
The president spoke at length about the case at a joint press conference with the leaders of Mexico and Canada. The president, adopting what he described as the language of conservatives who fret about judicial activism, questioned how an “unelected group of people” could overturn a law approved by Congress.
“I’m confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress,” Obama said.
The Supreme Court spent three days hearing arguments last week in four separate challenges to the health care law, which stands as the president’s signature domestic policy accomplishment. A central challenge was over the individual mandate — the requirement that Americans buy health insurance. Critics say the mandate is unconstitutional, and that the federal government cannot force people into the insurance marketplace.
Obama: Government ‘Made This Country Great’, REALLY??

President Obama attacked Republicans for their desire to cut the government spending that “made this country great,” while also faulting them for failing to “balance the budget.”
Obama said that Republicans have “one message and that is, we’re going to make sure that we cut people’s taxes even more — so that by every objective measure our deficit is worse and we will slash government investments that have made this country great,” he argued, “not because it’s going to balance the budget, but because it’s driven by our ideological vision about how government should be. That’s their agenda, pure and simple.”
The president should avoid attacking budgets for failing to balance. Senate Democrats have refused to propose a budget of any kind in over 1,000 days. President Obama’s budget included $3.6 trillion in new spending this year. Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., proposed a plan to balance the budget in five years. The Republican Study Committee has also proposed a plan to balance the budget in five years.
“This president is completely irresponsible,” Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., told The Washington Examiner in a discussion of Obama’s budgetary policies. “He’s been in office three years. The problems that are facing us, that have us on the edge of the cliff — he’s avoided. It’s a cowardly thing to do as a world leader not to address the big problems . . . I really think it’s disgraceful.”
With the national average price for a gallon of gas approaching $3.90, you’d think that Washington would be doing everything it could to ease the price and the impact on your wallet. Well, you’d be wrong.
Believe it or not, Harry Reid’s tax-and-spend gaggle in the Senate are responding to soaring gas prices by, you guessed it, trying to raise taxes on oil and gas companies. Of course, higher taxes mean higher prices; it’s just common sense. But that’s something in short supply in the Senate these days.
The bill is S. 2204, offered by Senator Menendez from New Jersey. Not only does it seek to jack up taxes on oil and gas when we can least afford it, but it also handpicks a range of so-called green technologies for special tax breaks. This bill tries to prop them all up: electric cars, cellulosic biofuels, wind, ethanol blender pumps, and on and on.
The Senate will be voting on the bill this week. So, take action today and send your senators a simple message: stop trying to use the tax code to prop up your friends and attack your political enemies!
Obama Tells Russia He’ll Have ‘More Flexibility’ After The Election
In a conversation that was picked up Monday by live microphones, President Obama privately told Russia he will have “more flexibility” to deal with missile defense after the election.
Speaking to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev ahead of a global nuclear security summit in South Korea, Obama asked for “space” and “time” to deal with the missile defense issue.
“Yeah. I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you,” Medvedev said.
“This is my last election,” Obama said. “After my election, I have more flexibility.”
“I will transmit this information to Vladimir,” said Medvedev, who will hand the Russian presidency over to Vladimir Putin in May.
TSA Pats Down 3-Year-Old In Leg Cast And Wheelchair (VIDEO)
When will the traveling public say enough to Government abuse.
A three-year-old boy in a cast and wheelchair on his way to a Disney vacation with his family was stopped by TSA agents at Chicago’s O’Hare airport. He was traveling with his parents, two siblings and two grandparents.
The video, which appears to be shot by the boy’s father, shows him visibly confused, nervous and squirming to get out of his chair. Holding back tears, he says he just wants to go by mom. But, according to comments in the video, nobody was allowed to touch the child or come near him during the process. His dad was asked to come over to lift the boy’s shirt.
Before manually screening the boy, the TSA agent tried to calm him by asking what sorts of things he liked. He also tried to reassure the boy while taking swabs of his cast.
The video also shows a senior citizen with a cane being pulled over into the same screening area as the child.

Barack Obama Issues Martial Law Executive Order
Friday afternoon, March 16, President Barack Obama issued an Executive Order that authorizes peacetime martial law in the United States of America. The Executive Order is titled, National Defense Resources Preparedness Order. In effect that document gives full and complete control over the entire countries natural resources in case of a natural disaster or during a time of war.
Barack Obama granted to himself authority to approve the dispensing of all domestic energy, production, transportation, food, and water supplies as he deems necessary to protect national security.
The document itself though is not limited to a time of war or even of that of a natural disaster. Rather the text of the document says that the President can invoke these powers for national defense in the “full spectrum of emergencies” (Sec 103a). Here is the specific section in context:
Section 101. Purpose. This order delegates authorities and addresses national defense resource policies and programs under the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended (the “Act”).
Sec. 102. Policy. The United States must have an industrial and technological base capable of meeting national defense requirements and capable of contributing to the technological superiority of its national defense equipment in peacetime and in times of national emergency. The domestic industrial and technological base is the foundation for national defense preparedness. The authorities provided in the Act shall be used to strengthen this base and to ensure it is capable of responding to the national defense needs of the United States.
Sec. 103. General Functions. Executive departments and agencies (agencies) responsible for plans and programs relating to national defense (as defined in section 801(j) of this order), or for resources and services needed to support such plans and programs, shall:
(a) identify requirements for the full spectrum of emergencies, including essential military and civilian demand;
(b) assess on an ongoing basis the capability of the domestic industrial and technological base to satisfy requirements in peacetime and times of national emergency, specifically evaluating the availability of the most critical resource and production sources, including subcontractors and suppliers, materials, skilled labor, and professional and technical personnel;
Barack Obama claims that the authority for such a radical and far reaching order is found in the Defense Production Act of 1950.
What exactly will he be taking over in regards to ‘natural resouces’? Food? Yes. Livestock? Yes. Control the Water Supply? Yes. Other thing? Yes. Here is the relevant section of the order:
Sec. 201. Priorities and Allocations Authorities. (a) The authority of the President conferred by section 101 of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071, to require acceptance and priority performance of contracts or orders (other than contracts of employment) to promote the national defense over performance of any other contracts or orders, and to allocate materials, services, and facilities as deemed necessary or appropriate to promote the national defense, is delegated to the following agency heads:
(1) the Secretary of Agriculture with respect to food resources, food resource facilities, livestock resources, veterinary resources, plant health resources, and the domestic distribution of farm equipment and commercial fertilizer;
(2) the Secretary of Energy with respect to all forms of energy;
(3) the Secretary of Health and Human Services with respect to health resources;
(4) the Secretary of Transportation with respect to all forms of civil transportation;
(5) the Secretary of Defense with respect to water resources; and
(6) the Secretary of Commerce with respect to all other materials, services, and facilities, including construction materials.
(b) The Secretary of each agency delegated authority under subsection (a) of this section (resource departments) shall plan for and issue regulations to prioritize and allocate resources and establish standards and procedures by which the authority shall be used to promote the national defense, under both emergency and non-emergency conditions. Each Secretary shall authorize the heads of other agencies, as appropriate, to place priority ratings on contracts and orders for materials, services, and facilities needed in support of programs approved under section 202 of this order.
(c) Each resource department shall act, as necessary and appropriate, upon requests for special priorities assistance, as defined by section 801(l) of this order, in a time frame consistent with the urgency of the need at hand. In situations where there are competing program requirements for limited resources, the resource department shall consult with the Secretary who made the required determination under section 202 of this order. Such Secretary shall coordinate with and identify for the resource department which program requirements to prioritize on the basis of operational urgency. In situations involving more than one Secretary making such a required determination under section 202 of this order, the Secretaries shall coordinate with and identify for the resource department which program requirements should receive priority on the basis of operational urgency.
(d) If agreement cannot be reached between two such Secretaries, then the issue shall be referred to the President through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor and the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism.
(e) The Secretary of each resource department, when necessary, shall make the finding required under section 101(b) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(b). This finding shall be submitted for the President’s approval through the Assistant to the President and National Security Advisor and the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism. Upon such approval, the Secretary of the resource department that made the finding may use the authority of section 101(a) of the Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 2071(a), to control the general distribution of any material (including applicable services) in the civilian market.
This is, in effect, a marital law declaration. In case you were wondering, yes, it means all natural resources, including you, your family and all your goods. After all, all of those are considered natural resources.
There is no doubt that the implementation of this executive order in this election year is not by coincidence. Rather, this author believes we are about to see a very serious power grab along with what our military terms as “false flags” in order for Barack Obama to use this executive order and completely become dictatorial, through the means of martial law.
Our nation has seen such orders enacted in the past such as President Abraham Lincoln in the War of Northern Aggression and also President Woodrow Wilson. This administration has already told us via the Defense Secretary that Congress and its Constitutional authority are meaningless to them. They are merely considered ceremonial to the Obama administration.
There is no question that this year could be the beginning of a true war between the government and the people as it seems that Barack Obama is hell bent on continuing his Chicago gangster methods to become the Godfather dictator that we have been saying he was aiming for, for far too long. God help us!
